Violet Grey has formed a new partnership with Hirshleifers, the renowned New York department store in Manhasset. The beauty retailer will curate an exclusive selection of high-end products for Hirshleifers’ clientele, featuring brands such as Susanne Kaufmann, Le Labo, and Perfumehead, among others.
This marks Violet Grey’s first expansion on the East Coast, beyond its flagship location on Melrose Place in Los Angeles. The new space will be positioned between The Row and the store’s shoe department.
Cassandra Grey, owner of Violet Grey, credited actress Gwyneth Paltrow with facilitating the collaboration. According to reports, Marci Hirshleifer Penn, a key figure at Hirshleifers, sought Paltrow’s guidance, and the A-list star recommended Violet Grey as the ideal partner.
