The American Society of Perfumers (ASP) has revealed that Allured Business Media will no longer produce its World Perfumery Congress (WPC) starting with the 2026 edition. The ASP stated it is exploring an exciting new direction for the event and will provide additional details about its format and partners in the coming weeks.

Roger Howell, President of the ASP, expressed gratitude toward Allured Business Media, acknowledging their significant role in shaping the WPC. “We are immensely thankful to Allured Business Media for their invaluable support and partnership over the years. Their expertise and commitment have helped shape our events into what they are today,” Howell said. “We look forward to building on this strong foundation as we move into the future.”

The change in management is attributed to a strategic shift in the ASP’s approach to event management, marketing, and communications partnerships.
