Louis Vuitton is set to make its highly anticipated debut in the makeup industry with the launch of La Beauté Louis Vuitton, a luxurious beauty collection slated for fall 2025.

While specific product details remain under wraps, the collection is expected to feature high-performance cosmetics crafted with innovative formulas and bold pigments. Legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath, who will serve as the creative director, has already generated buzz in the beauty world with her involvement.

The collection is anticipated to include 55 lipsticks, 10 lip balms, and eight eye palettes, according to WWD. McGrath, renowned for her groundbreaking work on major runway shows, including Louis Vuitton’s own, brings decades of experience to the brand’s first venture into cosmetics. As the founder of Pat McGrath Labs, McGrath has revolutionized the makeup industry, and now she brings that expertise to Louis Vuitton.

“I am thrilled to now play such a key role in the launch of La Beauté Louis Vuitton,” McGrath said in a statement. “The beauty universe is about so much more than just product, and what we are creating here will unlock a new level in luxury beauty.”

Though this marks Louis Vuitton’s first official beauty collection, the brand has a long history with cosmetics, dating back to the 1920s. The luxury house once created bespoke vanity cases, makeup brushes, and powder compacts for elite clients, including opera singers and composers.

Louis Vuitton’s new beauty line is an extension of its legacy, designed to complement its iconic fashion and accessories offerings, further integrating the brand into every aspect of luxury living.

“La Beauté Louis Vuitton is a natural business evolution,” said Pietro Beccari, chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton. “Through this new universe, we have the opportunity to accompany clients in their everyday lives with purpose and pleasure, while continuing to celebrate our creativity and heritage.”
