Coty (NYSE: COTY), one of the world’s leading beauty companies, has entered into a long-term licensing agreement with iconic crystal house Swarovski to develop and distribute a new line of fragrances. This partnership marks the beginning of a creative and innovative collaboration between the two global brands.
The agreement aligns with Coty’s strategy of expanding its portfolio and reinforcing its reputation as a preferred partner for brands looking to enter or elevate their presence in the beauty market. With its diverse offerings in fragrance, color cosmetics, and skin care, Coty continues to build on its success by introducing fresh and exciting products.
Swarovski, which is represented in over 140 countries and operates more than 2,300 boutiques, will leverage this partnership to expand its brand visibility in the beauty sector. The collaboration will bring Swarovski’s signature “Pop Luxury” essence — a mix of creativity, color, and joyful extravagance — to the world of beauty and fragrances.
Jean Holtzmann, Coty’s Chief Brands Officer for Prestige, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing the potential for global expansion across key markets such as EMEA, the Americas, and Asia. He noted that Swarovski’s world-renowned artistry and cutting-edge technology make it an ideal partner for this venture. “We are excited to develop truly brilliant beauty offerings that will inspire elegance and express individuality,” Holtzmann said.
Michele Molon, Swarovski’s Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted the significance of the partnership in expanding Swarovski’s brand into new product categories. “This partnership allows us to bring our unique ‘Pop Luxury’ positioning to the world of beauty and fragrances while benefiting from Coty’s extensive industry expertise,” Molon stated. “Together, we will create beautiful and luxurious products that reflect our shared commitment to quality and innovation.”
The first products under this new licensing agreement are expected to launch in 2026.
