LifeCell, a pioneering name in India’s stem cell banking and a leader in diagnostics, genetic testing, and pre-conception care, is making a significant stride into the skincare industry with the launch of AreoVeda. This new venture marks a groundbreaking approach to mother-baby skincare by combining the power of natural ingredients with cutting-edge cellular science. AreoVeda is India’s first skincare brand to test its products on lab-grown human skin cells, setting a new standard in purity, potency, and safety.

AreoVeda’s product range is specifically designed for pregnant women, new mothers, and newborns, addressing common skin concerns like stretch marks, pigmentation, acne, dryness, eczema, diaper rash, and cradle cap. The products undergo rigorous cellular testing in LifeCell’s accredited labs, ensuring their effectiveness and safety for both mothers and their babies.

Taru Mayur, Co-founder of AreoVeda, highlights the importance of this innovation, referencing an Environmental Working Group (EWG) study that found over 200 chemicals in a baby’s umbilical cord blood, originating from maternal exposure. This underscores the need for skincare products that are not only natural but also tested for their safety and impact on both mothers and their babies.

AreoVeda has earned the prestigious EWG and ECOCERT COSMOS certifications, which attest to the purity and natural composition of its products. With over 98% natural ingredients, AreoVeda’s formulations exceed the stringent requirements for these certifications, positioning the brand at the forefront of safe and effective skincare.

The brand also introduces an industry-first process called cryomilling, where ingredients are milled with liquid nitrogen at extremely low temperatures (-196°C). This process ensures the ingredients are pure, micronized, contaminant-free, and retain their natural properties. These cryomilled ingredients are featured in AreoVeda’s CryoHeroes range, which includes products like CryoCoffee, CryoGold, CryoOats, and CryoHayal.

AreoVeda’s commitment to sustainability is evident in its eco-friendly packaging and cruelty-free practices, further solidifying its position as a socially responsible brand. The product collection is divided into three segments: a pregnancy range, a line for new mothers, and a range for babies, each tailored to meet the unique needs of its target audience.

LifeCell’s foray into skincare with AreoVeda is poised to revolutionize the industry, offering a new level of trust and efficacy for mothers and their babies during this crucial phase of life.
