A Boise-based startup is embarking on a nationwide tour to showcase its innovative makeup technology. BoldHue, known for its device that dispenses customized shades of makeup, dubbed the “Keurig for makeup,” will begin pre-sales on Saturday, with deliveries expected this fall.

“Beep beep, meet ‘Huey,’ our mobile BoldHue headquarters traveling from East to West coast,” BoldHue CEO and co-founder Rachel Wilson announced on LinkedIn. “We heard everyone loud and clear about wanting to touch, feel, and try BoldHue, so we decided to take exactly that to the streets!”

The tour will kick off in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, on Saturday, August 3. Details of the tour stops can be found on BoldHue’s website, where users can subscribe for updates.

This roadshow follows BoldHue’s recent success in raising its first round of seed funding, amounting to $3.4 million.

“Be sure to be on our waitlist to receive a 24-hour head start for premium presale access,” Wilson added.
